Woo hoo! Pencil me in for Monday, March 3, **GT** ; I’ll start working out what my theme will be in the mean time. 🙂 Back from Tarjay and the grocery store. Overspent, of course. And still didn’t find what I really wanted: one of those laundering bags for “unmentionables.” LOL So then I come home, do a search and find them for as little as $2.99 at [amazon.com](http://amazon.com)! I’ve been hand-washing my new bras, and decided that it was for the birds. So, mesh laundering bag will be ordered (I’ll probably get 2 or 3). Fortunately, we didn’t need much from the grocery store. So now we’re in for the day. I haven’t read the Sunday paper yet either. I’m just all off today. Wish I was at **Swampy’s** , what with jambalaya, pulled pork and all. It really sounds yummy. 🙂 ---

Hi, all. My weekend has been so boring, I’ve had literally nothing to mention. Except that **snowbunny** ’s doggie boyfriend, Isaac, is an IDIOT. Yesterday morning Papa Tigs had gone out before I got up, and although I was expecting a FedEx from the office, I figured the dogs would bark at the FedEx guy and then go back to sleep. Except that Isaac barked and barked and barked and barked until finally, muchly annoyed, I went to see what on earth he was barking at – was someone trying to break in or something? No, even worse – some idiot at the office had apparently required a signature on the package, but when his knocking didn’t get me out of bed, the EVIL FedEx man had the _nerve_, the sheer unmitigated _gall_, to stick his “sorry we missed you” hang tag on a small piece of glass at the top of the door! So Isaac, the rocket scientist, was standing there barking at that piece of paper stuck on the glass like it was one of those evil flying aliens from Star Trek that lands on your back and takes over your nervous system! Stoopid dog. :rolleyes: The big excitement this weekend is that we’re off to a promotion party for one of Papa Tigs’ coworkers in D.C. this evening. Oh, yay, an entire evening spent with people I’ve never met. :rolleyes: again. **Dotty** , when we lived in New Orleans, we once got 24 inches (61 cm) of rain in 24 hours, two-thirds of which fell in just four hours. It was truly like standing under a waterfall. Our house was 2.5 feet (~106.5 cm) above the street, but with the storm drains unable to handle that much water, our house came within, oh, about 1/4 inch or 1/2 a centimeter of flooding. We were actually kind of disappointed; we’d elevated all the furniture up on blocks, and hated the carpet so were hoping the insurance company would pay for a new floor for us. ☹ Anyway, your relatives have my sympathy – that much rain is almost inconceivable even when it happens to you! Hugs, yays, boos etc. to everybody who needs them. I’d better to clean up in anticipation of our thrilling evening. :rolleyes: ---

I did get let out of work early, and it took an hour and 45 minutes to crawl the 35 miles home. Now it is _really_ snowing like gangbusters, looks like 15 inches, at least, so far. I’m happy I have full cupboards and nowhere to be until Firday. Can I go to Key West, like, yesterday? ---

I’m in on the relocation to Key West. Not sure what I’d do for money; maybe someone will adopt me. Went to work for an hour to make sure that some table changes had been done correctly. Developer called me just as I was arriving to say they were done. Gotcha down for March 3, **tarra**. Now I’m off to church. Back after a bit to relax, I think… GT ---

You don’t need money in Key West - it’s all margaritas on the beach and stuff. No, really, it is. I’ve been there. I know! 😃 Laundry is done for today. And I think I may have a pet sitter lined up - she’s close by and her rates are definitely better than boarding the dogs and cat. And less stressful for my critters. Still haven’t cleaned the fridge. I think I used all my ooomph yesterday. But my baby called - and she’ll be here on Thursday - yay!!! ---

Wonderful as Key West sounds, I truly do have a Florida vacation planned Feb or March '09, only it’ll be to take my Mom on a visit to her sister in West Palm, with stops in South Carolina and Tennessee on the way back to visit assorted other relatives. My Dad is such a stick-in-the-mud that doesn’t really _get_ the concept that travel can be fun. ---

I’m back home from TVLand. All in all, I was pretty crabby for the weekend. So I sent TVMan a cute e-card asking if we could have a do-over date when I go there wednesday evening. I took the Bubster with me for the weekend because I thought that TVMan would like a puppy visitor. However, I get this paranoia about something bad happening to Bubba if he’s not safe at home. I think that was part of my problem because I kept worrying that he’d get loose. And he was too nervous to eat his food all weekend so that upset me too. I’m STARVING now. (It’s a good thing that Pizza Hut is on their way with dinner.) ---
