A lesson from recent history: Howard Dean is the new George McGovern.

Dean is the only candidate that has me excited for 2004. In fact, my excitement helped introduce a co-worker to Dean and now she is contributing to his campaign! As a supporter, I totally agree with Eve. He needs coaching or a stiff drink right before going on-camera. If he could get Gephardt as VP, that could be a winning ticket. Gephardt has union support and is a Washington vet.

Also, Dean was just out here in CA making a fool out of himself trying to defend our bizarre governor. I guess it was a ploy to win delegates…

Actually that was probably an improvement over his earlier TV appearances.

He does great when he is giving a speech, but appearances like that definately need work.

Could be seen as an asset this time. Consider what the electorate knows about Bush, now - I don’t expect as many decisions to be made on the basis of personal likability this time.
