**Notthemama, Billdo** ’s OP wasn’t “riding into battle” for anyone. It was about as balanced a piece of advice as could be given in the circumstances. I hope that it was heeded. Well I for one am sad that **Iswote** finds it difficult to cope. There has been a lot of helpful advice and posters have been patient enough to try and explain things but it doesn’t seem to have worked. There can only be two explanations, either this is simply a wind-up to have a joke on the board ( I hope it is) or sadly there really is a person with a few problems that they cannot deal with at this time. If it is the latter then we can only be tolerant and gently point out where improvements can be made. I work with drug addicts a lot and they say the most evil things to you but you know that someone else within is talking.All you can do is stand back and be there.It is hard to understand the pain someone is going through. Yes, I know this is not a therapy forum. Or its a good piss take. ---

I was lost and looking for help anywhere I could find it, and in too much pain to be patient and more reasonable. It was hard to “suck it up”, as one poster put it, but ultimately that was the only solution for me. I kept waiting for someone to rescue me but no rescue ever came so I learned to live with life as it is. ---
