I haven’t actually seen the video, but I’ve heard enough about it to know (a) I don’t want to, and (b) it’s not the sort of thing you’d expect to be allowed on a license plate. ---

DD claims she was this about a week ago: NVW\*55V We were all in the car and she told me to drive closer to the car in question so she could get a second look, but it got away from us. She said it was ASS\*MAN, from Sienfeld, upside down. ---

I believe I have posted this one before, but [this](http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenner116/207042797/sizes/l/) is the funniest plate I’ve ever seen. It was about 3 years ago on I-95, probably in northern Virginia. I can see how 2GRL 1CP got through, but this one was incredibly obvious (and hilarious!). It was passing us at a pretty good speed, so I was lucky to get such a clear shot. ---

I’m not surprised the 2GRL 1CP got through; after all, aren’t they mostly just run through a database and then one person gives it a look? We can’t really expect the DMV to be up on every internet meme. I’ll bet they yank it once they start getting complaints, though. I was once at a stoplight behind a white muscle car with the New York plate: GOMBA JOE. ---

I recently saw an Illinois plate that read W T F. No preceding or following digits – those three characters constituted the entire “number”. ---
