Righteous! Your doubts about Miles’s dope situation at the time helped me remember that one of Evans’s friends (in some interview I can’t remember just where), said that it was Bill’s stay with Miles that got him (Evans) started on dope. I also remember that as a joke of sorts, when Bill joined the session Miles told him he had to suck all their dicks before he could be considered a part of the group. I don’t recall how that worked out.
