After all, they’d have chosen to be his friend, which says a lot about their taste, I think. (Not because he’s an escort, assuming it’s not all a hoax, but because he’s a tacky one.) I’m guessing **Kalhoun** is saying that our gigolo pal is very intent on constantly maintaining eye contact because he read somewhere that it’s… um… something he’s supposed to do. He thinks it makes him come across as sincere. ---

I’ve figured it out. See, the **American Gigolo** was really hot (well to most people, the young Richard Gear didn’t really float my boat, but for the sake of this post, I’ll acknowledge that he was way sexy to a lot of people). Okay, so anyway, **American Gigolo** is the top, like Miss America, and the regional gigolos, like our good friend **Gigolo Jess** are knock-offs, copies, wannabes, runner-ups. Therefore, **Gigilo Jess** is not as hot. Yeah, I know, he’s not hot at all, but go with the theory, okay? Our New England Gigolo didn’t make it anywhere near first runner-up; poor **Jess** must have been dismissed in round one. New England obviously needs a better contender to represent them, and uphold, as it were, the manhood of the region. I wonder what the talent contest at a Mr. Gigolo Pageant would be like . . . 😃 ---
