I don’t know what it is, and I am not sure I would care even if I did know! I’ve had a very pleasant weekend at home, alone and unsupervised since 'im indoors went to Scotland to see his family. I could have gone with him but I didn’t really need to and it would have been a couple of holiday days I didn’t need to use. Instead, I pottered around at home, went to the gym, watched movies in my jammies, and generally enjoyed the peace. I am now picturing **Nuts** in a lay-by on a small country road, surrounded by cattle, serenading them with what my music teacher used to refer to as a vile-din. To be fair, I never attempted to play one but I could see what she meant. ---

Happy Moonday! It’s a cold and dark 10 degrees outside. I’m grumpy this morning because the damn cat decided to wake me at 2:30 and then again at 4:45. He has food, and water, and clean litter so I don’t know what he wants besides attention. Or treats, he probably wants treats. Fortunately for him, the squirt gun was empty, and the puppy was too sleepy to chase him down and chew on his head. If everytime I woke something up it chewed on my head, I’d stop waking it up. My cat was shorted when it came to brain cells. I have an appt today to get a sonogram of my throat, to see if I have hashimoto’s disease. I’d rather not go out in the cold. I have no clue what LII is but I assume it has something to do with football since I know the steelers are a football team. One of my friends was a steelers fan until the whole colin thingie. I have no idea what the vikings play. Of all the sports, I _detest_ football because the ravens fans I know in real life are so obnoxious. I don’t care who wins as long as it’s not the ravens or the colts. ---

I have dusted and vacuumed. Go Me! Now if I can just motivate myself to clean the bathrooms and kitchen and mop. I do know what LVII is but really don’t know who is in the playoffs still. See, I have this thing about pro sports teams. Whenever they have gone on strike, I went on strike. They got off strike but I didn’t. I’m kinda sad UGA in the national championship but not devastated like some folks apparently are. I went to UGA cause UGA said they’d pay for it if’n I went there to get my degree. Couldn’t argue with that now could I? In other news, it occurred to me a little bit ago today is a Federal holiday in the USofA. I had feared I drug the biiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can down to the road for nuttin’ but as it turns out we will have trash pickup today. YAY! ---

Annoyed by local transit system’s failure to post that today would be holiday “schedule”, meaning damn near no service in my neighborhood. DH will now be a little late for irk due to dropping me off. $DEITY alone knows how bad the calls will be, especially with one department closed (urgh). ---

And for my pick, it’s going to be New England again, which I say without any pleasure, but it seems to be obvious. Monday is Jimmy Johns sub lunch, so I need to clean up and act normal here in about an hour. ---

We have a Jimmy John’s. It’s next to a Starbuck’s. For the longest time I had no idea what a Jimmy John’s is, that is until JDD took me there for a sammich. YUM! In other news, da cave is now sanitized. ---

I’ve never eaten at Jimmy John’s; in looking at their online ordering system, it doesn’t look like they have a lot of stuff: oil, mustard, sweets or hots, etc. Is this true? I’ve wasted enough of today; need to become productive now. ---

I refuse to eat at Jimmy John’s. The owner hunts big game. I don’t have a favorite sports team. I’m from Chicago and the Bears suck. I don’t like football anyway, but I was rooting for the Steelers because my grandpa was from Pittsburgh. It snowed overnight, about 4 inches. I worked from home til about 9 then came into work. The roads were decent. Today I get to use the FrostGuard windshield cover that I ordered from QVC. I won’t have to clear my windshield when I go home. Yay me! Tonight’s dinner is leftover chicken legs and the last of the scalloped N.O.T. ---

I suspect the cattle would run away… ☹ Did extra class at skool today; we’ve got two groups which have been taught together until now, but my version finished last week, and the other continues for another month or so, so I gatecrashed them (with lecturer permission). It was all proper scientisting with lab coats and mixing suspicious chemicals, great fun. We don’t get to do enough of that. I’m going to go play with tiny plants tomorrow, at the micropropogation unit. Not part of the course, and it’s an hour’s drive away, but it’s really interesting. I have an arrangement going with sports; I don’t bother them, and they don’t bother me. Now I don’t work security at a football ground, I can ignore sports entirely. ---

LII - Not the Patriots. I don’t get a paper paper. E-paper only. I got tired of recycling. Favorite team - Dodgers. This morning we made nummy, nummy brunch. Eggs with bacon, mushrooms, pesto and onions. N.O.T. with turmeric, garlic, onion. Topped with green onion, tomato, sour cream, or not. I now commence to lazing. ---

How lovely to know that I am older than the SuperBowl. We have a Jimmy Johns here but I have never eaten there. Maybe one day, but if I’m going to go out to a place without a drive thru, then I usually go to the Mexican Restaurant. My dr appt was for 2:30. I pulled into the parking lot at 2:17 and I was back in my truck leaving at 2:37. No waiting at all. The cold wasn’t so bad either, I guess because it was N.O.S. today and the truck was warm. I stopped at burger king on the way home, they owed us two free meals (well not really but that is what they offered) for screwing up our last order. Ripple gets his own small hamburger. The cat gets miffed because he doesn’t get anything but that is because he won’t eat it anyway. Not that he would get a whole burger, but even if I break off a piece he won’t eat it. But he still gets all pissy about it. He and the dog were playing well together today. They make a lot of noise but I don’t care as long as nobody is getting hurt. Ripple cracks me up though, because he can be playing hard and then boom, he lays down right where he is and goes to sleep. ---

To answer the OP: I’m rooting for the Vikings because Patriots. I’ve never eaten a Jimmy John’s sandwich, but then again, I’m not a fan of subs, hoagies, grinders or whatever you call them in your neck of the woods. Too much bread. Today was the first Monday that I’ve irked for a month. It sucketh as Moondays tend to do. Some jackhole sprayed the area where I work with air freshener. I had to take a couple of hits off my inhaler and had a headache all day. People who don’t have their own office where they can close a door have no business stinking up everyone’s workspace.
