In every country, the average life expectancy of women is greater than that of men by 2-3 years. IIRC, Men die more in 15-24 age-group and in 55-64 age group giving them less life expectancy than women. Afaik, only difference between men and women is the hormones. ---

Testosterone certainly causes some problems in some contexts. But in other contexts, it helps. And I’m not sure how meaningful it is to claim that males are a variant on a basic female template: It’s like asking whether zebras are white with black stripes or black with white stripes. ---
