Hey all! Thanks for all the nice things you’ve said about my rant (Hedburgesque, **Miller**? Now _that’s_ a compliment!) Sorry about abandoning the thread but my computer was on the blink…well, that’s not_strictly_ accurate as ‘On the blink’ implies that my computer works at least 51% of the time and that malfunctions are the _exception_ rather than the rule. Alas, the rinky-dink tin heap 'o shit digital paperweight masquerading as my PC has about half the processing power of the average pocket calculator and is to normal PC’s what Forrest Gump is to the fucking Lawnmower Man. So yeah, the upshot of that is that I can’t post much until I get an upgrade. Still, twas certainly cathartic and you guys all seem extremely cool so I think I’ll sign up when my guest membership runs out. Take care! P.S. - Psycho Pirate. I’m not “…violently anti-religious”. I’m just anti _religious violence_, of which there seems to be more and more these days. Fundies of all stripes are bad news, IMO. P.P.S. - Still not smoking. Seven days clean. Can I get an AMEN to that? ---

AMEN! I heard somewhere recently that the physical need for nicotine abates after the third day and after that, you’re just dealing with the psychological need. So you’re already well on your way. (I quit smoking myself a few years ago, so I don’t know if I really believe that three days crap, but if an unsubstantiated claim from a stranger on a message board can give you a little boost, who am I to hold it back?) 😉 ---
