One of my best friend’s mothers died today. She was in hospice for the last 2 weeks. She had colon cancer, mets to bone. I am ☹ ---

So sad to read about Harvey Korman. I always loved the Carol Burnett Show. **Rebo** , thanks, I think I’ll stick to my Cheerios with banana. Maybe I’ll have some ice cream, too. Hmmm, the Robin McKinley factoid confirms my suspicions that everyone was either born or has lived in Ohio. I, too, like Alton Brown, although I don’t have cable anymore, so I hardly ever see him. Took apart more shrubs, then went for a walk. Now I’m tired. Little brother isn’t stopping by tonight after all, so I don’t have to do much more cleaning. I’m so sorry, **Rigs**. ☹ Harvey Korman’s (81) death makes me sad, too. Along with Dick Martin (84) this past weekend, and one of my Dad’s friends (83) this past weekend, too - all these old farts are passing on and my Dad is 84. :eek: Hey, can y’all cross some appendages for my other old fart Blaze? He’s getting neutered because he has a tumor in his testicle, also having a small soft mass removed from his side, and his teeth cleaned tomorrow. He’s 12 - 84 in dog years. I’m a bit anxious about my oldest baby. : deep breath : ---

I’ve known her since I was 16. \ Thanks for the good thoughts. I went over to my friend’s house after work for a bit. She’s doing well (as well as anyone can do…) I like Sarah Moulton (?) the chef–blonde, nice, seems down to earth. I also like Alton Brown. I don’t like Brit bad boys vogueing for the camera, any woman anywhere making love to food, rachetty ray, or pompous jackasses unintentionally lampooning William F Buckley with food. The fussier people are about food, the less I like the food AND them. We are not together to verbally orgasm over the shrimp–we are together to have conversation and enjoy the company. The food is a perk; the dialogue is essential… Annoying Ethnic Coworker well, annoyed me today. I had a great lunch with another coworker who I like a lot, though. I was canceled for tomorrow, thank og, given that there is graduation practice, #1 son’s work after school, and #2 son being home alone if I had worked. I am seriously wondering two things: 1. when the fuck my life will slow down because I want off the amusement park ride. 2. if I can hold a FT job with #1. (yeah, I know other women do it–I’m not other women. I don’t want someone else raising my kids). My head hurts. ---

Sorry for your friend’s loss, **rigs** , and for yours too. Time for bed - I needs me some beauty sleep, lest I fall asleep halfway through tomorrow’s sales presentation. I get to work from a different office for the day, which isn’t as far away as the 'burbs, but isn’t quite as close as my home base downtown… Joy. If I’m lucky, they won’t have a free desk I can borrow after the presentation, and I’ll just have to “work from home” for the rest of the day. 🙂 ---
