Whew - at last! We’re applying to refinance our mortgage, and I just scanned and/or downloaded a gajillion assorted documents. At least I didn’t have to print them all - just emailed them as attachments to the loan officer. So they’re gone. And I’m waiting for a couple to come look at the inversion table - hope they buy it! I want it gone. I’ve also got laundry going - good times! \*\*FCD \*\*is napping. He had a stressful day. I’m tired, too, but the first day of our training exercise went well for us. We got a “real” problem to solve, as opposed to the make-work things that are created in house if the folks we’re training with don’t task us equally. Todd and I kicked butt! 😃 Tomorrow will be interesting, since he has to leave early, so I’ll be on my own for a couple of hours. It’s not that huge a deal… at least I don’t think it will be. Dunno what we’ll do for supper, but I’m hungry. Hope the table folks get here soon - I’d hate for them to find my withered, emaciated carcass propped up in this chair. :eek: Day 5 of 12 day work week is done. ---

☹ I just learned a good friend and co-parishoner passed away. He’d had a number of health problems for several years. When I sang in the choir (yes, I did that, quit giggling!) he kept me entertained. RIP Troy, you were one of the good ones! Sorry to bring the party down. Just that, well, I really like Troy. ---

**Rosie** lucky for you I absolved you from a lifetime of papercuts over on facebook. 😃 For those of us not on facebook, **Rosie** posted a funny that made me snort beer right after I received the bad news. Normally, the snortin’ of beer brings down the curse of a lifetime of painful papercuts, but she got absolved cause I needed that giggle. Also, OYKW and I just scarfed down pimento cheese sammiches cause it was decided that some type of food intake was needed. I was not puked on. I’m sure everyone is releived. Speakin’ of which, have I or anyone ever shared the delight that is pimento cheese? I believe it is a southern Amurrkin thang. I could check the blog to see but well, that would involve irk, so that ain’t happenin’. If I have not, please so inform me so that I can. It is truly a food of the Gods! ---

My dad who is extremely tone-deaf, as in there are sounds he physically cannot hear. They needed a baritone named Tommy since the previous one’s voice started to go. Former Baritone Tommy could carry a tune in a bucket. My dad can too, for a Lutheran choir. (The Lutheran Church: Taking “joyful noise unto the Lord” a bit too literally at times. :D) Waiting for Culinary Boy to get home with clean laundry and salads. I need to call Irish Brother to see if he’s up for a “Too Heathen to Be Raptured” party tomorrow night. ---

I’m sorry about your friend, **Swampy.** Poor Polar is home and is quite out of it. I didn’t even have to put his harness collar on when we left the vet; I just attached the leash to his neck collar and he was a perfect gentlemen. He must be in some pain and probably a little sick to his stomach. He whines every once in awhile. His poor ear is so red and raw looking. Tomorrow I start him on all his drugs. Tranadol, prednisone, and some sort of antibiotic. Additionally, I have an ear wash kit and ear drops for him. He has to take the drugs for two weeks. Hopefully, by then, it will all be cleared up. I take him back in 10 to 14 days. I’m hoping he hasn’t developed some sort of allergy. ---

**Spaz** I read music just enough to be dangerous. Meaning, I can read just real slllllllloooooooowwwwww like. Heh, people at church tell me they like it when they sit near me cause it sounds like the hymn should sound. Don’t know if’n that’s true, but if’n I happen to like the hymn, I am not opposed to beltin’ it out. We Whiskypalians are not as vocal as the Lutherans. We are more like _golf clap_ when it comes to that. Thanks for the kind words **Taters and Spaz**. Troy will be missed, but truth be told, he’d suffered for a while so at least he’s at peace now. Le Sigh. I turned on the sprinklers in the back yahd. I’ve been waterin’ the two plants out there I want to live but I fear it’s not enough with this drought. Thus, lettin’ the sprinklers run for a bit. The grass, I don’t worry about cause da bear does not like to mow, but, we do what we must. Le Sigh. I hates me some higher than usual water bills! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ _YAWN_ 'Tis 63 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of around 96. Yep, pool weather! 😃 Thanks for the condolences y’all. **Nava** pimento cheese is essentially grated up extra sharp cheddar cheese, diced pimento peppers, mayo, cayenne pepper to taste and a little salt and pepper though I leave out the salt because the cheese has a salty taste already. This is all mixed together until it’s creamy and used as a sammich spread, a dip, and/or spread on celery as an appetizer. It makes a good grilled cheese sammich. One can also add grated onion, garlic, cream cheese or whatever but I go for the basic cause it’s good! As a wee cub, I remember picnics had to include pimento cheese sammiches. It was like some kind of law. **doggio** I’ve been thinkin’ about post rapture lootin’. I really haven’t noticed anything around my ‘hood that I particularly covet. I asked OYKW if he’d be interested in ridin’ around to look for loot this evenin’ but he said he’d rather lay around the pool and drink beer all day.
