Standing in the Shadows of Motown.

I just saw this last night and it was great. Fascinating documentary about the Funk Brothers, the band that played the music for durn near every motown hit. I now own it. Learned a lot that I didn’t know, heard some great music, and thoroughly enjoyed the stories of the band members. The whole thing felt like I was a little kid again, listening to my grandfather tell me stories.

I did a search this morning and it seems that at least **Chefguy** has seen it, and has the same opinion. If you like motown, I think it would be impossible to not enjoy this film. Even if you don’t like motown, I think you’ll find it at least very interesting, if nothing else, just for some of the little stories.

One of the better 2 hours in front of the TV I’ve spent in quite a while.
