I’m all freshly MRI-ified. Of course I need to wait for the actual radiologist and doctor to look at the images, but what I can make out is not too attractive. C6-C7 in my neck appear to be joined together at the front with very little space between them, and there’s still some squished jelly donut-like stuff down at L5-S1. ---

I must be stressed because I’ve been eating nothing but crap food for the last two days. I need to dive into the crisper tonight to find dinner. Oh, July. I hate you. I hate feeling like I have PTSD every time I go to work. October will be even worse. I’m going to job-hunt on my vacation in three weeks. ---

Ouch! \*\*Gotti. Wifey \*\* has a squished disk and subsequent pinched nerve somewhere around L5, so I feel, by proxy, your pain. My sympathies. I have to get one of the older vehicles fixed it seems. The 94 Suburban simply refuses to start sometimes. I suspect either a ground or the starter solenoid. And as I was driving the 88 Ranger home from McMinnville today a nice man pulled up beside me and told me my brake lights weren’t working. Emergency lights work and fuse looks good, so I’m guessing it’s the brake light switch. I’m tired of this. I need to win the lottery so’s I can get a new car or two. :dubious: ---

Thanks for the beet suggestions. I realized that yesterday was only Wednesday so I had two nights to make dinner so I could make beets one night and cauliflower the next. Much easier not to have to combine the two. I made a beet pasta with both the beets and the greens last night. Now I think I will roast the cauliflower tonight. Although I don’t know what we’ll have with it because I forgot to take anything protein-like out of the freezer this morning. Mexican sounds good though. Can I server cauliflower with tacos? Yay on the pay raise, **rebo**! Albuquerque sounds like it’s good for you, **herbs**! Enjoy the flash mob, **rosie**! Sounds like fun. I got my new iPhone approved from work on Tuesday, and it arrived today. So I have a new toy. We ordered an Otterbox for it last night, expecting that it would take the phone a few days to arrive, but since the phone came so quickly, I’m going to be paranoid about breaking it until the Otterbox arrives. ---

\*yummmmm \*- supper was good. Meatloaf, smashed N.O.T. with gravy, Amish corn, 'maters from my yard, and Amish cantaloupe. STUFFDED!!! And even with a 17-y/o boy at the table, there were leftovers. Plans for tonight include lots of knitting and vegging. And ice cream. And a nice cool shower before bedtime. Summer sucks. ---

It was meatloaf night at da cave too! This is gettin’ skeery! :eek: I made meatloaf, green beans, Spanish rice and rolls. YUM! Yikes **gotti**! Hope the doc can figure out what’s goin’ on there. I picture a flash mob as a whole bunch of people runnin’ around in raincoats and nuttin’ else. 😃 ---

**Taxi** (nickname=?) I just wouldn’t drop it onto concrete from about chest height, and you should be fine. Just don’t get too used to how it feels naked - OtterBoxes are so big, I just don’t know how anyone can still operate their phone! 😉 Dinner tonight was pasta with pesto, peas and cherry tomatoes. Finally used up the **N.O.H.** from last farmer’s market run. Another project to commence: surprising a friend with a jockstrap in the mail. Picked up the yarn today, I’m thinking black with red accents? (and no one tell **The Roommate** that I bought more yarn today! :o) ---

Second worst day of my %^&\*$%# life today. I had a fender bender in the parking lot at work. Who the hell parks behind another parked car? Anyway, my fault and got a base ticket which doesn’t mean a whole lot. No damage that i could see but I did the right thing and reported it. While waiting on base police to arrive I let the windows down because it was about 150 degrees and forgot to let the passenger window back up and we had a hugh thunderboomer with heavy rain so passenger inside is soaked.:smack: I swear some days I should just stay in bed. ---

Worked, did some presidential like things, came home. A bunch of people in dark clothes threw themselves in front of my car, lemming style. I managed to miss them, including the old guy. My roommate C went to Chicago for a convention. Her dog Teddie is a little perturbed. His thought process: Squeakie(sister dog) went away and came home in a little box Nelly went away and came home in a little box Mommie went away…:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Also, my beer is buzzing:dubious:. Blurf. I’m up early despite having Firday off to go get groceries before the heat starts. VWife’s request; I thrive in the heat. Dog got me up to let him out. Hmmmm. Sure is foggy today… I opened the door for him, and it was severe clear all down the block. The ‘fog’ is condensation on the outside of the windows. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ _YAWN_ ‘Tis 76 degrees Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 97. Definitely Summer. Also, I waited until about an hour before dark last night to drag stuff back on the porch and around the pool deck thinkin’ it would be a little cooler. It wasn’t.
