Okay - I went to the grocery store next to my office and bought at pack of cookies. I have a small sample of a few cookies on a paper towel. I can tell you by looking at this cookie that the left over crumbs definitely appear black. I think I’ll have to run some more tests. ---

Oreos are dark brown. More importantly, they are not black. Black is the wrong answer. People who say they are black should be punished for their wrongness by means of public humiliation. ---
