In case anybody wants to debate the topic in the OP: Speaking strictly from a scientific POV: Doesn’t one need a point of reference? For example: If I’m in a car and I can’t hear the hum of the engine and I can’t feel the forward thrust of the car and I can’t see the trees moving past out the window; how do I know I’m moving? I need all that input to know that I am moving. (Or hell, even one of those inputs) So, wouldn’t the same be true for Happiness vs sadness? ---
