Well shit. As I’m typing “In Cold Blood” I’m thinking the movie was just as much about Capote as about the killers, completely spacing out that there have been two movies specifically about Capote!
I think all answers “count”, but the book you’re thinking about is a novelization of the movie and not the original source material, which was a short story by Clarke called The Sentinel.
