So Giuliani and Powell are now admitting under oath that the story that they utterly committed to - that Dominion and Coomer were rigging the election - was based on no direct or indeed indirect evidence whatsoever and that they have no idea how Dominion/Coomer might have accomplished this. Good luck with that defense, guys. ---

The entire philosophy of Trumpism appears to be “Whatever we want to be true is true. And if it turns out not to be true, it was just our opinion anyway and you can’t blame us for having opinions.” Which really needs to be tested in court more, I think. Could be fun. ---

I mean, I’m sure that if they present it at the outset of proceedings it _could_ fly, but otherwise can a judge even instruct a jury that they’re (jury members) allowed to draw that conclusion? ---

The defense would go as follows 1. While simple research might show that my claims were false, I didn’t see any of that evidence before I made my claims. 2. Therefore I didn’t have any reason to not believe what I was saying. 3. Based on the case law of Costanza Vs Seinfeld (1995) “It’s not a lie if you believe it” 4. So I didn’t lie. 5. If I didn’t lie I must have told the truth. 6. Truth is an absolute defense for defamation 7. Therefore the case should be dismissed. ---

That tanTrump’s Hotel in Washington managed to lose 70 million US$ despite the friendly overpaid “reservations” by foreign dictators is as astonishing as being able to bankrupt several casinos, so it is reasonable for tanTrump to try to hide those losses.
