My Trumpist SIL has already flounced on social media about the speech and Biden blaming Trump for “everything wrong” and daring to “quote Scripture”. I just don’t have the energy anymore to deal with her bullshit anymore. She also spouts “plandemic” nonsense. If it weren’t that I like her kids (my niece and nephews) I’d cut her out of my life completely. Anyway - my point is that Biden’s speech is unlikely to move the needle on anyone who still supports Trump. The truth ain’t setting anyone free today. But kudos to Joe for making the effort. ---

Good speech. I like and think it was extremely necessary for Biden, as POTUS, to lay it out in plain English: Donald Trump planned and incited a coup attempt. ---

Individual 1 is, not surprisingly, butt hurt about Biden’s speech. He complained that Biden used his name to divide the country. Biden never once called Individual 1 by name. ---
