FWIW, I read Patrick Byrne’s insider account of the insurrection, and he was with Rudy in a meeting bar the night before that speech. During the 90 minutes that Byrne was at the meeting (he came in the middle of a long meeting to push _his_ insurrection scheme) Rudy drank 9 alcoholic drinks (scotch). Byrne is not sure how much Rudy had to drink before he arrived or after he left. ---

Reading through New York AG filing, it looks like - for purposes of requesting loans, insurance coverage, or otherwise benefiting from a larger number - the Trump Organization had a habit of inflating values past what independent appraisers did by, probably, an average of 3X. One particular element of note that the AG included, just for the funsies, is this line: > In particular, in evaluating whether to extend or maintain credit, Deutsche Bank > accepted Mr. Trump’s personal guaranty and Mr. Trump’s Statements of Financial Condition, > and the valuations listed thereon were incorporated into internal bank memoranda. At > origination, the truth of Mr. Trump’s representations was a condition precedent to the bank’s > obligation to lend. Ex. 420 at DB-NYAG-005911 (Doral); Ex. 421 at DB-NYAG-005025 (Old > Post Office); Ex. 422 at DB-NYAG-006020 (Chicago hotel); Ex. 423 at DB-NYAG-005307-08 > (Chicago residential). In addition, an “event of default” would occur if “[a]ny representation or > warranty of Borrower or Guarantor herein or in any other Loan Document” (including a > compliance certificate) “shall prove to have been false or misleading in any material respect at > the time made or intended to be effective.” Ex. 420 at DB-NYAG-005916. I’m not sure whether the supporting documents referenced are also publicly available but the court filing references and quotes a variety of internal Trump Organization documents that, quite likely, prove that false and misleading statements of material importance were made to Deutsche Bank. Based on this one document, alone, Trump might be put into default, independent of whatever the AG does. The document goes on to note that Donald J Trump, himself, is on the hook for a variety of loans, having gave a personal guarantee, subject to specified penalties should he default. I’m still reading, but will post any other elements of note. ---
