Seems like they can still toss unfavorable results, they just won’t have the bullshit excuse of not getting the votes counted in 24 hours (after they’d stripped blue districts of the manpower to get them counted in time). ---

[This idiot](https://www.justice.gov/usao-md/pr/maryland-man-facing-federal-indictment-drug-conspiracy-and-firearms-charges) was in the Senate chamber during the January 6th riot. When the FBI tracked him down (via video from his own social media posts) he was in possession of controlled substances, which resulted in additional drug and firearms charges. Fun fact: said idiot’s late father was my childhood dentist. He was eventually revealed to be a quack who damaged many people’s teeth and jaws. ---

My problem is that I don’t give a fig about Chris Christie and his opinions, even when I agree with them. Chris Christie is a crook who also got away with his crimes. IMO ---

It was my first flight anywhere, really. I remember looking out the window of the plane as we descended into LAX and saw a dividing line between blue sky and a urine-coloured mung that hung over everything. I left a few years later after battling months of bronchial asthma and swollen tonsils. Always related to that Dennis Miller line: “God invented the L.A. basin so he’d have someplace to stub out his cigarettes.” I hear it’s better now, but as late as the mid-nineties, that’s how I remember L.A. air. ---
