AFAIK the Maya Angelou quote was if someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. This because people can tell you all kinds of lies about themselves, but cannot always prevent their real intentions from coming out through their actions. The outrageous thing about Trump is that he’s not even trying to hide who he is with his words. ---

Free speech. That’s what it was. Wow. Just … Wow. They feel awfully comfortable assuming that Trump being out of office hasn’t altered the immutable fact that the majority of his loyal fans are still idiots. And who can blame them ? ---
