When the shitty Trump crime family invokes the 5th over and over again (which they surely will), I hope the opposing counsel is allowed to ask the following: Mr. Trump, did you yourself give the following statements: “You see the mob takes the Fifth,If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” “Fifth Amendment. Fifth Amendment. Fifth Amendment. Horrible.” Did you say these things? Yes or no? ---

I’m sure a judge would consider it irrelevant to the case. Unfortunately. Then again, all it would do is establish the well-documented fact that Trump is a hypocrite, and wouldn’t be that helpful. ---

I can certainly see someone raised on crime dramas who believe that only guilty people take the fifth, until one day they find themselves in a legal quandary where they need to. It would be evidence of ignorance, not necessarily guilt. ---

Tell that to my ex-girlfriend and her [latex allergy](https://www.healthline.com/health/banana-allergy), bananas would really make her sick. Just like Trump makes people sick. I think decent folks are allergic to him. Also, bananas are sometimes used (tongue-in-cheek) as a [unit of measurement](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_equivalent_dose) for radioactivity, which also seems appropriate. Finally, Trump can be described as being bananas, though he’s more orange than yellow. ---
