I don’t recall seeing the actual accident, but I remember it happening. At the time I was working at a movie theater (as a federal civil servant, of all things) and my boss had the event up on the theater screen watching it. (We weren’t open, I was there cleaning up and doing other stuff around the place.) I just happened to be in the theater as it was going on. It was pretty shocking. ---
