It’s not really Schadenfreude but Jack Smith’s pictures and resume have real “fuck around and find out” energy to them. I’m cautiously optimistic. ---

Stephen Miller is a perfect exemplar of the theory that you can tell someone’s personality from their appearance – not always, true, mind you, but it’s astonishing how often it is. And Stephen Miller needs only an SS Schutzstaffel uniform with a swastika armband to be the picture-perfect Nazi, an image perfectly consistent with his espoused values. Jack Smith looks … surprising. I would not have expected a Special Counsel to look like that. But given his incredible background, I say he looks formidably bad-ass, and look forward to the ass-kicking he’s going to deliver. 🙂 ---

Well, they both look like they could be bond villians. Although Miller as more of the Blowfeld, swarmy, effite evil genius who stands back and strokes his cat while other people do all the dirty work. Smith on the other hand looks more like the Aris Kristatos sort of villain who got where he was by clawing his way to the top and will probably end up in a fist fight against Bond over a vat if molten metal. ---

So what kind of stuff could be in the returns that DJT doesn’t want us to see? If he was breaking the law, tax-wise, wouldn’t that be handled by the IRS without needing anyone else’s help? ---

Mainly that he did not pay any taxes for a number of years due to business losses (because he’s a crappy businessman) combined with the figures that show he’s not that wealthy. ---
