It looks like there is a hearing later in January to rule on whether the grand jury report should be made public. I hope it is, considering what is at stake. So a County DA has to decide whether to charge a former President of the United States and/or any of his associates with (I presume) state crimes resulting from the 2020 election and his/their attempts to overturn the results in Georgia. I do not envy her this decision. In spite of all our rhetoric here, who among us has the courage it’s going to take to do the right thing? The grand jury report, if released to the public, could take a good deal of pressure off, but it is still her decision. Since this is the schadenfreude thread, I will note in passing what Trump must be feeling about the fact that his first criminal indictment might be made by a Black woman. ---
