I agree for the most part. Especially if it’s news or something trying to give an explanation. I just want to read it. That’s why I’m on a message board and not TikTok. Now, if it’s showing me an event or it’s a clip from a show that’s cool. In any event, if you’re trying to use a video to convince someone of something or to make an argument, yes an unreliable source would be a bad thing. But what are you looking for? The person who uploaded it? The original host of the video? The person who wrote it? The person featured in it? I don’t think people realize what a can of worms this is. If you don’t trust videos (and I often don’t myself) then don’t trust videos. Dismiss them or ignore them. ---

Apparently, the schadenfreude is coming from [Mike Pence](https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/11/politics/mike-pence-gridiron-dinner/index.html) this time around! "Pence scolded those who have downplayed the people who entered the Capitol on January 6 as tourists. “Tourists don’t injure 140 police officers by sightseeing,” Pence said. “Tourists don’t break down doors to get to the Speaker of the House or voice threats against public officials.” And joked at Trump himself: “Honestly, I learned a lot working beside Donald Trump, like about subpoenas for instance.” ---

In the latest Real Time with Bill Maher (3/10/23). On YouTube. Around 26:10 about 2 min long. He reads Tucker Carlsons words from his sanitized segment on Jan 6 and substitutes different video footage. It’s pretty good. ---
