In the case of Chesebro, Judge McAfee had already ruled that there would be no attorney-client privilege protection due to the crime fraud exception. He ruled on that defense motion shortly before Chesebro chose to enter his plea. So no help there. ---

So what that tweet claims is that Sidney Powell does not know anything first hand and therefore anything she claims in court is only hearsay and should be dismissed, specially if implicating him? ---

That would be true for matters and topics that the overseeing judge decided were open, due to the crime fraud exception, but not to anything else. And the judge would only be deciding on matters that the prosecutor brought to the party. If Powell was aware of other matters - criminal or otherwise - that would be of interest to the government then having a non-legal, “just friends” connection to Trump would give her the opportunity to divulge those other tidbits. ---
