So in response to that, Trump today posted about two dozen old tweets from Carroll on Truth Social. All about sex. I’m not sure how he thinks this will help. Who am I kidding? He doesn’t give a shit. Fire up a grifting email about her and get it out pronto! More damages ahead. ---

Between the Carroll case, the impending dissolution of the Trump organization, and all his other mounting legal fees, I’m not so sure he can grift enough to keep up with all the damages coming his way. I agree with this. I think he realizes that he is finally at an “all or nothing” juncture, that he either emerges unscathed or he’s done for. There’s no Deutsche bank bailout, no Putin intervention, no couple of sketchy years till he figures out the next grift, not if he ends up on the wrong side of a verdict. I think he’s terrified. And he should be. ---

The manufactured fear and outrage has always been the pitch to the MAGA base. It was always at 11, I’m not sure it’s possible to dial that up any higher just because Trump is now experiencing _real_ fear. Although I guess a significant difference now is that he’s trying to use the fact that he’s being prosecuted for crimes as justification for much more serious revenge on his enemies if he gets reelected.
