The only thing I can’t see is how they attached the top beam. But I can’t see anything there that I wouldn’t consider perfectly mundane deck building work. But the stairs suck! ---

I’ve never been involved in a hanging, but I have done a bit of rappelling, and it is impressive how much force an adult can put on a rope and structure from only falling a few feet. ---

That is a good response. I tend to think, after reading about ideas here, that it would have happened. I can;t imagine though what the government response after that would have been. Martial law in DC maybe. I don’t like Pence, but at least his behavior in public was civilized, unlike Frump. ---

People took time to build that gallows. It could be functional enough IMHO depends on what a crazed traitor would do. Doesn’t really matter it it’s ‘art’ or ‘symbolic’. Not one bit. Pence would probably have been stomped to death or something else. His SS would fight for him, fight for there own lives as well. While I’m sure the SS is well trained, and well armed, how do they fight off 100 - 200 people? Maybe, after 15 -20 dead they would change their minds. No that direction was not mentioned. But Gagh did have a recipe. Alfredo noodles were the base and the sauce was tinted to look reddish brown. There were recipes for klingon blood wine, Fried Ferengi ears, and Andorran Brain Matter. ---
