This is one of those rare instances where I don’t think the plaintiffs primarily interested in damages for the sake of receiving a monetary reward. i.e. I don’t think they ever expected to receive the full amount. But if it ruins Jones then that’s good news for everyone. ---

I wonder when it dawned on Alex Jones that he picked the wrong group of families to defame and injure with his repeated lies. These are well-to-do families who have the financial wherewithal and motivation to get justice for the grievous injury visited upon them by this lying POS. I have no doubt they will hound Alex Jones to his dying day to collect on the $1.1 billion defamation judgment against him they have been awarded. ---

If this was a standard bankruptcy creditors usually try to keep the company running so that it can earn money to pay them back. But the parents would rather burn it to the ground rather than let it raise one more red cent, even if it means they end up with less. ---
