The problem is that this presumes a capacity for rationality on Giuliani’s part. The reality is that he appears to be a delusional (and allegedly usually drunken) loon. But he’s definitely in a world of shit. ---

You might hope it evaporates. After enough time playing the wacko, and being the Big Cheese with the ego to match, you become effectively irrational even though fully sane. _Might_ he see he’s screwed? Sure. _Does_ he see he’s screwed? Maybe, but IMO that’s not the percentage way to bet. We shall see. ---
