And I want to point out that that same argument was made when Elon did the same BS with desantis. “The servers crashed because there was too much demand.” The servers crashing is a bad thing! It means you’re not serving your customers! Bad Elon! You are a bad businessman! Go stand in the corner! ---

Nah, too shiny for my taste; fingerprints show up too easily! I have yet to decide between seatbelt webbing in beige/champagne/sand or beach colour, mostly because I can’t tell the difference as I’ve never seen them side by side. And I’ve mostly got a mental list of what I don’t like vs what I do! Matte veneer FTW (again; fingerprints). And that one bulkhead fabric from that one customer which was so pretty I almost cried…! I see a lot of designs and materials. I get judgy. ---

The ShitGibbon’s campaign was hacked, because Roger Stone (!) responded to a phishing attempt targeted at his AOL email account, which was enough to allow the nefarious interlopers to get access into the system. This in itself is snertworthy. Thing is, some internal campaign emails were leaked to the press, but the press has decided that they cannot in good conscience allow the public to see any of this material. What the actual fuck? We were treated to pictures of Hunter Biden’s penis, FFS. What is in these emails that could be more sensitive than that (pun not really intended)? I submit that, since we cannot discuss the known content of these leaks, we should therefore speculate wildly about it. Was JD Vance, upon first meeting ShitGibbon, reminded of furniture cushions? ---

Indeed, So and So sueing Trump doesn’t belong in the Trump Schadenfreude thread. It goes in the Schadenfreude thread for So and So. Trump won’t pay a dime. Did Carrol get paid? What happened to the 400 million Engoron awarded? – at this point US judges should start wearing bigger shoes and invest in red noses. ---

Whether she’s started proceedings on any of them, I don’t know, but she has a lot of options as long as she has a judgment in her favour. A writ, then asset seizure, and so on; all can be pursued by Carroll. It is a misconception that a losing defendant in a civil case says, “Damn, I lost,” and breaks out the chequebook in the courtroom. That can happen, of course, but more often, it takes more stringent measures to collect. But the point is, that as long as Carroll has a judgment in her favour, she’ll collect eventually. ---
