And I would be shocked if there’s not a thick perimeter established with Guardsmen holding machine guns, and instructions to use whatever force necessary to keep the perimeter intact. And make that known in advance with some form of “fuck around and find out” message. No surprises. I say this without bloodlust, but that’s what was missing on January 6. The guys with all the real firepower need to show they’re not reluctant to use it. That’s the paradox: If you want a peaceful session or event, you need to be willing to rain hellfire down on the bad guys if there’s a threat like the one on January 6. Let the guys in the crowd see what happens to the “patriots” leading the charge. ---

Notice how Trump was asked about three important voter demographics. His answer instantly betrays his selfishness and narcissism. He doesn’t even make an attempt to speak to those demographics. He makes it all about him. It’s ALWAYS about him. ---
