It’s actually two different scams. Uday and Qusay are trying to launch a cryptocurrency project, complete with their own token. The project is called World Financial Liberty and it’ll probably be a pump and dump scheme. They’ll hype the fuck out of it, drive up the price, sell a whole lot of coins to their stupid cultists and probably dump their holdings before the price crashes. They announced this project recently, the website will probably be worldfinancialliberty dot com, which is now an under construction page. On the heels of this big announcement, a group of scammers registered worldfinancialliberty dot org (site registered yesterday!). Then they hacked Tiffany and Lara’s accounts - typically this is done by tricking the mark into forwarding or giving the code from an account reset text or tricking them into adding the scammers name or email to their account. Then the scammer posted endorsements for the fake World Liberty Financial. The fake World Liberty is probably in the business of convincing people to buy crypto from their fake exchange, then they straight up steal the money and try to talk the marks into paying exorbitant fees in order to withdraw the fake profits shown on the fake platform. So, like most things involving crypto, its scams all the way down. ---
