Or she may hope that he leads a relatively quiet life accumulating lots of money in a more-or-less legitimate way. I don’t think we have sufficient evidence to say either way. (Trump’s skill, by the way, is not to make the cons and grifts work, except for himself, but to allow himself to slide out from under without a noticeable stain on his character.) ---
