One possible explanation for Trump’s conspicuous absence or withdrawal from scheduled campaign events is that his staff is intentionally trying to minimize his exposure to the public near the end. After all, he tends to do best with the public when they see him less. Seeing him more reminds many why they’re sick of him. ---
