Just like in the Federal government, there needs to be a trial in the Senate requiring a two thirds vote to convict and expel. That’s expected to be close. By the way, one of the Senators is the AG’s wife. He is suspended until the trial concludes. ---

A popular Christian fund-raising site is their go-to to get money. They cry they’re innocent, but at the same time they’re pleading guilty and cooperating with prosecutors. 2. They’re getting lawyers paid for by the government, and are raising funds _for their legal expenses_. 3. One of the rioters is a millionaire and raised funds for his legal fees. ---

Normally, I care about people being the victims of scams, but with this crowd? Fuck them. They’ve gone out of their way to get scammed by these people, and my only regret is that their money is going to people even worse than them. ---

I think it would affect the grass roots GOP folks first. State and national level candidates get the big rich donors. But County commission and city council candidates rely on local money. Much of which has been sucked up by the big orange vacuum. ---

So the criminals are pleading for funds, and they’ve raked some in, and the Gov’t is ripping it away from them after it was dangled in front of them, and the “donors”, one hopes, won’t get it back. It’s like Karma is dishing out multiple lessons in applied schadenfreude. Dan ---
