He’s of course not extraordinary among Republicans in these crimes. Republican Tim Nolan, chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Kentucky, pled guilty to child sex trafficking. Trump campaign and transition advisor George Nader plead guilty to child sex trafficking. Trump’s Oklahoma campaign manager and former republican state senator Ralph Shortey plead guilty to possession of child porn and child sex trafficking charges. Trump campaign aide Ruben Verastigui was arrested for participating in a child porn ring while working on Trump’s campaign. Trump Commerce Department official Adam Hageman was arrested on charges of “sharing a child pornography video and commenting several times on sexually abusing children. Ronald Williams II, a researcher for President Trump’s voter fraud commission was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography. Caleb Bailey, a Trump delegate charged with possession of child pornography. Richard Ciccarella, who was responsible for the Trump administration’s communications services at Mar-A-Lago arrested for uploading child pornography to the Internet. ---

And I suspect if you asked on Jan 5 2021, for his opinion on prison reform he would have made some comment about how prison isn’t supposed to be fun, and if you do a crime you deserve what you get. ---

This is indeed one of my pet peeves. Where people think “plead” is a past tense verb, one that rhymes with “bread”. Or they use “lead” as a past tense verb for the same reason when “led” is the correct word. That’s deserving of another thread though. While Donny “Covfefe” Trump is guilty himself of butchering the English language through his entitled illiteracy, it’s the least of the awful things he’s done.
