The animal shelter at the county I work for (my wife actually worked at the shelter for a bit) are actually part of the Sheriffs office. They thought that perhaps the animal patrol officers should be armed. My wife said no, not with a lot more money and training (I agree). We know that Noem is an abuser/killer of animals/pets. Maybe animal control should be armed. To protect the animals. ---
