This is the first time I noticed the pun also, but that was because I don’t recall ever seeing it with the “temper” in it: it was always just “tanTrump”. Which I would have gotten had I been told it was a pun, but I just thought it was prefacing his name with an appropriate prefix like Mc or Fitz or the equivalent in other languages. ---

I like it. Back when Trump was first running, I floated the same ideas in an attempt to highlight his whiney name calling. I thought of “Trumper Tantrum” and then “temper tanTrump”, just like you. I root for Spain. Germany fucked it up in my book when **[they cheated](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disgrace_of_Gij%C3%B3n)** with Austria to boot Algeria out in the WC 1982. I was 17 back then. I have not forgotten. I forgave Austria when Spain beat them **[9:0](https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/match/54976--spain-vs-austria/)** in the qualifying games to the Euro 2000. They have been irrelevant to me ever since. I still have not forgiven Germany. Yes, I can hold a grudge. The other football enemies (not rivals: enemies) are: Real Madrid. Italy. Bayern Munich.
