At least the Nazi’s money doesn’t actually go to Elmo if they’re buying a used model. I’ve seen people trying to get a “Sell Your Tesla” movement going on Reddit - I’m thinking it needs to be “sell your Tesla AND donate the proceeds to a charity that helps someone Elon hates”. ---

Buying a car is a major investment. Selling it for a tiny fraction of what you paid to take a political stance is laudable but should not be considered mandatory. I have no animosity toward anyone who bought a Tesla years ago and still has it. Buying a new (or used) one today is a different story. ---

Driving a Tesla is now an explicitly political act. It indicates either that you support Elon Musk or that you’re OK with being mistaken for someone who does. Getting out from under a loan, as well as trading in your Tesla and getting something else, are not necessarily things that _all_ Tesla drivers can easily do at the drop of a hat. Some of the posts, including yours, seem to be implying that Tesla drivers, as a group, are uber-wealthy, and can easily do such things. That’s presumptuous.
