Looks like the event is postponed a month. It must have been a rogue FBI, Secret Service or other federal law enforcement officer. Everyone else in that building had been thoroughly screened. Don’t let them tell you it was a Palestinian, or Iranian, or immigrant. It was an inside job. ---

My understanding is that the shooter got to a security checkpoint and opened fire, so didn’t actually enter anything. But it’s early and there’s all kinds of info. I am not 100% confident about anything being reported at this point. ---

Reports are saying the shooter is in custody and named Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, CA. He was apparently staying in the hotel. A grad of CalTech with a Masters in engineering and a school teacher. 31 yo. ---

Look, conspiracy theories are cool and I’d love if some of them were true… but there are a lot of Americans who don’t like Trump, and a lot of Americans with guns. I’ll put my trust in Occam’s Razor and accept that things are pretty much as they appear, at least unto new information comes in.
