In his first term he wanted his face carved into Mount Rushmore. As I recall, he knows he can’t ask for these things himself, so he persuades somebody else to do the asking. I’m sure there’s a reward in it when they do so. But I think some of this outright fawning that we see isn’t originating from the supplicants, instead they’re favors asked from Trump. Expect lots more. His ego demands it. I’m sure we could play a game of how far he’ll push. Will he want a Trump memorial to be built to rival Lincoln’s and Washington’s? Will he want a city named after him, or a State? Will Canada be renamed Trumplandia? ---
