Probably because I’m an IT guy, and I can’t use slashes in the names of files or HTML pages. I just got used to dashes when I have to put a date in a file name for whatever reason. ---

Yeah hyphens are obviously superior, but slashes are easily manageable `string.replace("\","-")` ---
