DeFuhrer is term limited, so he doesn’t need Trump for anything anymore. He’s probably done the math and figured that when he runs for president in 2028 Trump will be too far gone mentally to play any part in the campaign. (Though to be honest I’m surprised he didn’t appoint himself to Rubio’s Senate seat.) ---
