Tennessee Republican Congress chud and Trump endorsee Andy Ogles has been defeated in the Republican primary. Every time I wander through the cesspool that is Twitter (which is much too often), the MAGAs are all chanting ‘deport them all!’ in the comments on any story like this. I think this is working very much like gay acceptance - people generally became accepting once they found out someone they knew/liked/loved was gay and the world hadn’t ended. There are of course still homophobic assholes (also distressingly prevalent in the Twitter cesspool). The problem there is that most people don’t have a personal relationship with an undocumented person. ---
