There’s a similar scene in **Trainspotting** (the movie, not sure about the book) where Begbie throws a heavy glass off a balcony and it ends up smashing on some poor woman’s head. Begbie then comes charging down the stairs hurling insults and starting a fight with the crowd to try to find which [inconsiderate person] did this. Very MTG except for the part where Begbie _actually fights_ instead of just talking shit. ---

This is the exact pressure point “love-first” Christians are using. While many Republicans only give lip service to Christian values, there are many who actually believe. There’s no Christian rebuttal to “love your neighbor” and it drives a wedge into their party. ---
