One last thing about HEB - I worked there when I was in High School and when I’d come back home my first couple of years of college. I loved them! They’re very generous in supporting their local communities with donations and food. When I graduated from High School they ran a big full page ad in the newspaper with pictures of all of their employees graduating High School and College along with a big congratulations. For any Gen Z’ers reading this post, back in the day we’d have to have physical papers filled with news delivered daily to our homes. A joke we’d tell in Austin: “Did you hear that HEB and Whole Foods are going to merge? The new store is going to be called Butt-Whole Foods!” For that joke to work, realize that HEB stands for Howard E Butt ---

I hate this blue collar working class hero crap. Almost all of us have been there. If you voted for him you didn’t just vote against yourself, you voted against 95% of the people in the USA. And for the record, I managed to get out of it. Because I worked my ass off. No college degree but I did it. And I still get up at 3-4am. So fuck right off Yerman. ---
