In aggregate, I think that Bear and the gang are in fine form to face some fines. Par for the coarse, I suppose. I wonder whether they’ll slump in resignation or deny everything. ---

Instead of Bear shitting on his own doorstep, perhaps he should go back to doing it in the woods? Although I imagine there would be a distinct lack of ‘cement mixers’ there. ---

I suppose it would be too much to ask that the names Bear, Mole, and Crane are what these characters are actually known as? Because I want to live in a small town where everyone knows everyone else and they all have cool nicknames like that. Kind of Northern Exposure-like. ---

“Bear” and “Mole” are variations of their street names. I made up “Crane.” Yeah, everybody knows everybody by their street names. The cement mixer has not been found. Bear is saying he had permission to take it, Mole is still screaming about us “siccing the police on me” and Crane is whining about how much trouble she is in. We have filed charges, so it is going to be very interesting. We’ve written off the cement mixer, as it is probably in pieces by now. ---
