It’s not so much what he says–though what he says is usually terrible–but his refusal to engage or give any good faith response to anyone who objects to his BS. Hw just retreats into this smarmy “Well gosh, I envy you your moral certainty” [assive aggressive BS instead of defending the words he actually said. It’s like arguing with a sponge. ---
